Our Fall 2016 Men’s Designer Edit is Here
Look to streamlined, European styling with a sporty edge this season.
The refined way Italian men now blur the lines between suiting and sportswear is but one reason we look to Milan, taking inspiration from its elegant citizens and its streets as the backdrop to fall’s tailoring. As men’s fashion gets increasingly forte, with a focus on embellishment and luxury details, Italian style, too, turns up the volume in a way we can get behind. Fur trims, earthy colour palettes, and ’70s touchstones like turtlenecks and shearling bring a sexy, retro flourish.
At Hudson’s Bay, we strive to bring in newness every season, and this fall welcomes to our floors designer collections from Jil Sander, Paul Smith and Christophe Lemaire (read our Q&A with Lemaire here), as well as a new men’s designer shoe department at our Toronto Queen Street store. Our team searches out these styles not only because they generate the big ideas that define our own personal style but because dressing with a point of view — even in our most casual moments—is more exciting than ever. —Nelson Mui, Vice President and Men’s Fashion Director
